Brief & Background
We received a call to ask us for help for a young lady displaying significant signs of self- injurious behaviour.
As usual, we visited the location and evaluated what was required to minimise risk to the end user and also what might assist the parents in minimising hurt and injury
Our Solution
We provided a custom made solution, made to measure wall padding system that, no matter what level of attack, would not allow for injury.
The room is fully covered, including the door, all with an approach of making it look ‘not padded’ to create a normal environment for the family.
The Process
To complete the installation the total time on site was 13 hours, over two days.
Disruption to the family home was avoided and a safe place created.
